Science Fiction Books to Go Digital

Sci-Fi fans have a chance to rejoice as many science fiction books are going to get digital. These science fiction books will include some books which may are out of print. Gollanncz will be launching the SF Gateway, which would be the world's largest science fiction and fantasy library.
It is set to go into operation from September and it will include more than a thousand science fiction books by almost 100 different authors which will include Arthur C. Clarke, Philip K. Dick, and others. According to Darren Nash, digital publisher of Gollancz, the inspiration has been the Masterworks series which was immensely successful in getting out-of-print books back to popularity. The gateway will integrate the physical science fiction books with the e-books and hence the Encyclopaedia of Science Fiction. The books will be available through all the major retailers but the pricing model has not been decided yet.
The company is planning on making available 3,000 science fiction books by 2012 and around 5,000 by 2014.
