The girl with the dragon tattoo, is one of the latest mystery thriller books to hit the shelves at number one. It is the first of the trilogy from author Stieg Larsson, who passed away in 2004.
The award winning crime novel is about a violent mystery of a 16 year old named Harriet Vanger who suddenly disappears. Set in 1966, Harriet's uncle decides to hire a journalist to investigate the disappearance. The plot line is suspenseful and there are a number of hidden clues through the storyline.
Although Stieg Larsson never had the opportunity to see his book published, thousands of fans are now waiting for the trilogy to be released as a movie. Lets hope that the readers will not be disappointed with the Hollywood version of the story.
