Thriller

Thriller

Thriller literature is a genre of fiction in which tough, resourceful, but essentially ordinary heroes are pitted against villains who creates obstacles in the hero's path. Part of the allure of thrillers comes from not only what their stories are about, but also how they are told. High stakes, non-stop action, twists in the plot that both surprise and excite, settings that are both vibrant and exotic, and an intense pace that never lets up until the adrenalin packed climax. Thrillers are loved by many literature lovers.
Thriller novels include a wide variety of subjects like the law, espionage, action-adventure, medicine, police and crime, romance, history, politics, high-tech, and religion. Thriller genres have a number of sub genres like conspiracy thriller, crime thriller, disaster thriller, erotic thriller, psychological thriller and many more. With all these wide range, thrillers provide a rich literary feast.
Thrillers are distinguished from mystery literature on the structure of the plots. In thrillers the hero generally thwarts the plans of the villain rather than uncover a crime as in mystery.
