An evil
as ancient as time itself has arisen and taken root in New York City.
Father Michael, the mysterious, undead defender of the Vatican, answers
his centuries-old call to action while Cain, a malevolent wraith that
feeds on fear and blood, has taken the life and form of the city’s mayor
and readies a demonic army to ignite the apocalypse. As Father Michael
gains an ally, a young homeless man with unrealized supernatural
abilities, and faces the possible spirit of his long murdered wife, he
grapples with his sworn duty to God and the shreds of humanity left
beating in his immortal heart. The time is ripe for Cain, and the
fulfillment of 20th century prophecies crash headlong to fruition.
Amidst a bone chilling blizzard, Father Michael must battle Cain and his
horde of demons in a final showdown that could very well herald the end
of mankind.

The party never ends at Club Fetish, a place where the
name says it all. You’ll find everything within the walls of this converted
brownstone: fetishists from all walks of life, mobsters with a penchant for
pain, a kindly European drug dealer, a dominatrix with a 170 I.Q., a UFO
conspiracy theorist, and holding it all together, the downtrodden Sergio
Fantastico. Being part owner of Club Fetish is the dream he wished he never had
and things are about to get weirder. His co-owner, the drug addled,
cross-dressing son of a powerful mob boss, is killing him slowly. His best
friend, Dingbang, has a plan that will either save him or kill them all. And
somewhere out there, two senior citizens are on a quest that will lead them
smack into the middle of the maelstrom.
"Fast
paced, laugh-out-loud funny. A deftly woven murder mystery that delivers. This
highly recommended novel of friendship and murder is a wonderful addition to the
genre and will leave readers looking eagerly toward author Kevin Sheehan's next
title." --- Midwest Book Review
"A
pleasure to read...with plenty of action to keep the reader turning the page.
Flat out funny. This is a great read." --- Kevin Tipple, Blue Iris Journal
"I
am terribly excited by what the future holds for Kevin Sheehan. He has an ear
for realistic dialogue and a sharpshooter's eye for the details that make a
story work just right. Should Old Acquaintance Be Rubbed Out will knock you on
your ass, it's so damn good." --- David Whitman, author of Harlan
and Deadfellas.
"Sophomore
author Sheehan delivers! A quirky, fantastico read." --- Margie the
